In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
