Finally we can begin: first five minutes of the fifth season of Stranger Things revealed.
The final series of the streaming giant's paranormal blockbuster Stranger Things is poised to be a major shows of the year. The initial episodes premieres on 27 November, but a sneak peek of the chilling opening five minutes has been made public on the internet.
The Opening: A Flashback to 1983
The episode, titled the opening chapter, takes fans back to the beginning of the story in the year 1983, in the wake of the vanishing of Will Byers.
"Should I stay or should I go?" the character hums in an effort to stay collected in the Upside Down.
Events swiftly escalate into frightening as a demogorgon materializes and yanks the boy to the stronghold of the antagonist. "At long last, we can begin," he tells the captive as propelling a plant-like appendage through his esophagus. "We together, we are going to do such beautiful things as one."
Air Dates and Cinematic Screenings
Part two of the final series will air on December 26, while the series finale released on January 1 – which will also be screened in certain movie theaters.

The synopsis reads: "The season of 1987. The setting is scarred by the emergence of dimensional tears, and the protagonists are united by a single goal: locate and eliminate the foe. Yet he has disappeared – his location and plans a mystery. Adding to their mission, the government has put Hawkins under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, pushing her into seclusion. When the yearly mark of the event approaches, arrives a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming – and alongside it, an evil more powerful and more lethal than all they have battled previously. To stop this terror, it will take all members – the entire group – standing together, for the final time."
Creator Comments
The unexpected preview was posted on the video platform subsequent to the show's LA debut recently, with appearances from actors such as the lead actress and another key actor.
"The size of this installment is bigger … It's more action and more special effects, but it's also by far the most poignant season since it concludes of the journey for the entire cast," the production's head writer, commented regarding the final episodes.
The other creator and collaborator, added: "Launching it for audiences is stressful, but we are prepared to finally show it."
